To what extent should employers attempt to control their IT usage policies? Is it our responsibility to educate employees on their increasing level of responsibility with regards to their social media footprint?
The CIPD is "urging employers to recognise that social media is driving us headlong into an age of mass collaboration and mass transparency, and if they don’t embrace this with open arms they will find themselves on the back foot".
As leaders shouldn't we be creating the right environment by developing a more social media savvy culture?
